Before things kick into high-gear Christmas-wise, I
thought I would do a fall recap.

Okay, so let the holiday madness begin!

Happy Thanksgiving 2014

Here's hoping your holiday is happy and warm and
filled plum full
of blessings.

This blog world is where I come to relax and
hang out with like-minded decor geeks.
Please know that I am grateful for each of you.
I love your ideas.
I love your passion for all things family and home.
I love how you reach out to one another.
I enjoy reading your comments,
even if I'm often remiss in replying.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Bathroom Update

 photo signature_zps1e656175.png
You all have heard me gripe and moan about my bathroom.
Well, I'm done griping.
First, it's Thanksgiving, so I should be thankful for having a bathroom.
There's that. There's also the fact that the green is gone.

I love my color. And I don't mind this shade of green at all.
It just wasn't working with the gray tile.

This is working, however!

The shower curtain has a little gray to match the tile, and some black, too, which helps me tolerate the black trim thing (that I did NOT pick out).

This is not my dream bathroom by any stretch.
But the custom shower curtain
and the new shade on the window
and the fresh color make me happy.
For now:-)

Monday Morning

 photo signature_zps1e656175.png
Thought I'd share with you a few shots of middle "baby" just before her very first homecoming dance. Is she pretty or what? And the hair. Don't get me started on the fabulousness that is this child's hair. Of course, I hear her personal stylist is quite good.

We searched high and low, and the only dress we found was this Lily Pulitzer.
More than I wanted to spend, but she will wear it again.

OH, and just so you know, I am her personal stylist: hair, nails, make-up, wardrobe selection.

There is no beating Mother Nature when it comes to style, however. These highlights are all natural.

This is her, "Mom, stop taking pictures," face.

She might have a date one day.
But for this event she went with a bunch of sweet girlfriends.

There will never be a man who loves her like this guy, though.

These are her first high heels. Walking took a little practice, trust me.

I am happy to report this girl had a great time!

Have a good Hump Day!
